Terms of Service
Last updated October 20, 2026
These terms govern your use of the Swivot website, web app (swivot.app) and Swivot mobile apps (together, the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these terms. If you use Swivot on behalf of a company, you agree on its behalf.
Accounts
You are responsible for the accuracy of your account information, for keeping your password secure and for all activity under your account. Company owners and admins are responsible for the team members they invite and the access they grant.
Your data
You keep ownership of the information you put into Swivot, including customer records, job details and photos. You give us permission to host and process it to provide the Service, as described in our Privacy Policy. You confirm you have the right to enter your customers' information and, where required, their consent to be contacted.
Acceptable use
- Do not use the Service for unlawful, fraudulent or abusive purposes.
- Do not send text messages to people who have not opted in, or ignore opt-out requests.
- Do not attempt to access other companies' data or interfere with the Service's security or operation.
Subscriptions and payments
Swivot subscriptions are purchased on the web and billed through Stripe. Fees, plans and any free trial are shown at signup. Subscriptions renew until cancelled. Payments your customers make for lawn services and tips are processed by Stripe on your company's connected account and are subject to Stripe's terms and fees. Your company is responsible for its pricing, refunds and distributing tips to crew members.
Availability and changes
We work to keep the Service available and secure but do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may update features over time. If we make material changes to these terms, we will update the date above.
Termination
You may stop using the Service and delete your user account at any time in Profile. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms. Company records may be retained as described in the Privacy Policy.
Disclaimers and liability
The Service is provided "as is". To the fullest extent permitted by law, Swivot is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
Apple apps
If you download Swivot from the Apple App Store, these terms are between you and Swivot, not Apple. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the app and is a third-party beneficiary of these terms with respect to the app.
